Knowing Travis Winfield as a former military member U.S.Navy and knowing how military life works it was a pleasure working with him firsthand.I was looking for houses locally in San Diego. I worked with other realtors and they only showed me homes they wanted to show me or had a vested interest in selling, so that did not work out very well. when I started working with Travis he showed us a couple of homes that fitted what we were looking for but a bit out dated and a little out of our price range and showed us more within our price range in San Diego area but not desirable or too small. The housing prices were way to expensive and we were losing hope. One day when I came home from work my wife said Travis called said that we had to look at these homes the only thing was it was located in Murrieta, Temecula area. Initial reaction was "Hell No!" I did not want to commute that far from San Diego to Temecula. So I agreed with my wife to just take a look at the homes and area since I have never been to Murrieta area. The homes were new construction and we looked at the model homes and we got excited. It was within our price range.We chose the lot, got to choose the marble counter tops, cabinets through out the home, floor, carpet. It came with stove, dual ovens, fridge, and dishwasher. Which was perfect since all we had was the washer and dryer. It also came with a tank less water heater, smart thermostat, smart door, garage door opener, led interior and exterior lighting, with some auto and dim switches,garden sprinkler system a fire place, and a fire main system with sprinklers in the home (aesthetically pleasing and covered) in case of a fire. It was truly a turn a key home. It was far beyond our expectations. We live near, grocery stores, shopping centers, and mall. The school our daughter goes to now has high rating. I just told my wife I was writing a review and she wanted to write one also, but wanted to tell you Travis, “Thank you and that you were on point with getting us into this new home.” She loves it! So, it makes me happy. As far as what happen to my commute. It is about an hour away and more during busy hours when everyone gets off work. I did utilize the military TIPS van ride share and that helps save you money and your car. I rode share with co-workers and I also would leave earlier to miss all the traffic. I also bought an all-electric car so that made my commute a lot more enjoyable and saved me money by charging at home. In all I feel I got a lot more for my money and a nice place to live when I retire.
